This training session provides policymakers and other stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and interact with the European Higher Education Sector Scoreboard (EHESS), including a preview of the upcoming updated version with new functionalities planned for publication this spring. 

Content

The session covers the following:

• Welcome and general introduction to the European Higher Education Sector Observatory (EHESO).
• Introduction to the European Higher Education Sector Scoreboard (EHESS) data and underlying principles.
• An overview of the EHESS structure and organization. The participants learn how indicators are grouped, and what are the different ways to explore indicators:
  • Groups of indicators.
  • Thematic view and Country pages.
  • Scoreboard and Time Series.
• Indicators. This part explores and explains indicators under each section:
  • Transnational cooperation.
  • Future-proof Skills.
  • EU Values.
  • International Cooperation.
  • Context Indicators.
• Maintenance and release. This part explains how EHESS is maintained, how it is updated, how to provide feedback, and what functionalities are planned in the future. In this context, a preview (“teaser”) of the upcoming updated version of the EHESS will be presented, highlighting selected new functionalities planned for publication.
