Graduate Outcomes
Understanding graduates’ careers, skills and outcomes across Europe through comparable data
The section on Graduate Outcomes provides insights into the experiences, career paths and skills of higher education graduates across Europe. It offers comparable evidence on how graduates move from study to work, their satisfaction with higher education, and how well their skills match labour market needs.
Within the European Higher Education Sector Observatory (EHESO), Eurograduate links graduate tracking data with other EHESO resources to inform policymaking and institutional development in the context of the European Education Area. The section presents analytical results, methodological documentation and aggregated indicators from the Eurograduate 2026 survey.
The initiative supports the European strategy for universities (ES4U) and contributes to building a European framework for graduate tracking. It helps policymakers, higher education institutions and researchers better understand how Europe’s graduates contribute to the future workforce and society, in alignment with the Union of Skills' objectives.
The Eurograduate section is organised into four parts:
-
European Graduate Tracking Initiative – introduces the concept, purpose and policy relevance of tracking graduate outcomes in a European context.
-
Eurograduate 2026 activities – outlines the ongoing Eurograduate 2026 survey, its methodology, participating countries and expected outputs.
-
Eurograduate results – presents analytical findings and comparative insights from the various rounds of Eurograduate data.
-
Eurograduate resources – provides access to reports, publications and documentation from both the current and previous Eurograduate rounds.
