Eurograduate 2026 activities
Strengthening European graduate tracking and data integration within EHESO
The Eurograduate 2026 survey marks a new milestone in developing a comprehensive European graduate tracking mechanism. Building on the solid foundations of Eurograduate 2022, this new round will deliver harmonised data across participating countries, providing key insights into graduate employability, job satisfaction, skills matching, as well as learning and labour mobility.
Crucially, the full integration of Eurograduate into the European Higher Education Sector Observatory (EHESO) is now underway. This ensures that new Eurograduate data will become part of the Observatory’s core infrastructure and will also be communicated through EHESO channels from 2027 onwards via EHESO newsletters, thematic reports, seminars, and webinars.
Through this integration, Eurograduate will enable policymakers, researchers, institutions, and students to analyse outcomes across Europe and better understand how higher education supports skills development and career pathways.
Eurograduate 2026 is a key initiative for strengthening graduate tracking in Europe, fully aligned with the Union of Skills. Eurograduate provides on a regular basis comparable evidence on graduate outcomes and skills use at European level. It will thus play a pivotal role in informing evidence-based policies for a more competitive and inclusive European Education Area.
Members and Partners
All European countries are involved in tracking of graduate outcomes, reflecting a shared commitment to improving evidence-based higher education policy. 17 countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain) will take part in the Eurograduate 2026 survey.
Building on a 2025 peer learning activity (PLA) on enhancing the comparability of graduate tracking data across EU and EEA countries, organised by the European Network on Graduate Tracking, several other countries will contribute aggregated indicators to the EHESO Scoreboard. The first results of this pilot activity on (mainly) administrative data are expected by end 2026.
User group
The User group on Graduate Tracking Data brings together policymakers, researchers and institutional experts to exchange practical, conceptual and technical guidance on collecting high-quality graduate tracking data. It also serves as a forum to explore and discuss concrete use cases, illustrating how such data can be applied effectively in different policy and institutional contexts.
