In September 2025, the EHESO Community of Practice (CoP) for institutional data coordinators was officially launched on Microsoft Teams. All higher education institutions that were already registered for EHESO’s institutional data collection were invited to join the CoP. We are pleased to share that the invitation was very well received.

Many institutions have expressed interest in involving additional colleagues from relevant departments, ensuring that expertise is shared and that members remain informed about ongoing discussions, upcoming events, and the exchange of questions and answers across the network.

The kick-off webinar held on 2 October, gathered 129 participants. The session presented the rationale and objectives behind the Community of Practice, and members received an exclusive first look at the HEI Benchmarking Tool currently under development.

We are delighted to report that the Community now includes almost 400 members and continues to grow steadily. Institutions that are not yet part of the CoP are very welcome to join in order to learn more about the EHESO data collection and benefit from peer exchange and shared resources (currently the slides of the kick-off webinar, FAQs, survey questionnaires, ...).
