EHESO User Group on Graduate Tracking Data holds inaugural meeting
The European Higher Education Sector Observatory (EHESO) held on 12 December 2025 the inaugural meeting of its User Group on Graduate Tracking Data, bringing together experts to exchange views and discuss a collaborative framework for the analysis of graduate outcomes.
Members endorsed the group’s mandate to facilitate cooperation, explore and discuss methodological approaches to graduate tracking analysis, and enhance transparency around available data sources on graduate labour market pathways.
The discussion identified several priority topics for future work, including employer demand for graduate information, support for disadvantaged students in accessing equal opportunities in the labour market, entrepreneurial skill development, the effects of student mobility on employability, and the potential for linking diverse datasets beyond traditional graduate tracking surveys.
Participants shared valuable resources, including recent publications as well as existing graduate tracking tools from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
The User Group will hold its first seminar, "Employability skills and jobs for graduates: learning from job advertisements", on 18 March 2025, from 12:30 to 14:00 (CET). Further information on the User Group on Graduate Tracking Data is available from the European Higher Education Sector Observatory.
