The Deep Tech Talent Initiative is a strategic programme launched under the New European Innovation Agenda, aimed at enhancing Europe's position in the rapidly evolving field of deep technology. This initiative is spearheaded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), which is recognised as Europe’s largest innovation ecosystem. The primary goal of the initiative is to train one million individuals in various deep tech domains, thereby fostering innovation and addressing the skills gap in this critical sector.

To achieve its objectives, the Deep Tech Talent Initiative will provide a range of courses and funding opportunities designed to develop and expand new or existing educational curricula focused on deep tech. This effort is supported by a robust network comprising over 3,200 partners, including training providers, businesses, higher education institutions, public authorities, and financing entities. This collaboration aims to create a powerful alliance that can effectively address the educational needs of the deep tech industry and ensure that talent is adequately prepared for future challenges.
