The EOSC Observatory is a platform designed to monitor and analyse the development and implementation of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). It aims to provide insights into the EOSC ecosystem, facilitating collaboration among various stakeholders, including researchers, institutions, and policymakers. The EOSC Observatory focuses on tracking progress, identifying challenges, and promoting best practices in open science, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of scientific research and data sharing across Europe.

The EOSC Observatory consists of an interactive dashboard for users to visualise and exploit data collected by surveys on the implementation and uptake of EOSC in Europe. The EOSC Observatory currently presents data on the EOSC readiness of countries from the survey on National Contributions to EOSC 2021 for the EOSC Steering Board.
