In 2022, The Ministry og Children and Families commissioned a review of the role of “open meeting places” and youth centres, including an assessment of quality, distribution, and financing models. The review was launched in November 2023. In the report, it is suggested to increase recognition, secure working conditions and improve the financing of leisure clubs in Norway.
