Forthcoming policy developments

The Ministry of National Education aims to ensure students' access to and participation in education for the 2023-2024 academic year as stated in Circular No. 2023/28. The priorities include improving the school environments and learning processes where students spend a significant portion of their time, securing education according to their academic and vocational interests and fostering the development of individuals who embrace national, spiritual, ethical, human and cultural values in a balanced and healthy manner in terms of body, mind, morality, spirit and emotion.

In this context, the Ministry of National Education's 2024-2028 Strategic Plan involve conducting both in-school and extracurricular activities. These efforts aim to enhance educational environments, foster students' academic, vocational, and socio-cultural development, discover and nurture their interests and talents in science, culture, art and sports and provide a well-rounded education by integrating moral, ethical and human values through voluntary and social responsibility programs. The ongoing initiatives also focus on supporting students' social development in terms of physical and mental health, effective use of digital education platforms and establishing a healthy and safe learning environment in schools with defined goals, strategies and performance indicators.
