Strategic Plan 2019-2022

As part of the Strategic Plan 2019-2022, the Scottish government is collaborating with enterprise and skills agency partners to chart out a vision called Skills 2035: A Human Future. Two of the main themes for this plan are meta-skills and the future of work, encompassing government policy priorities in employment and entrepreneurship. The government and Skills Development Scotland will collaborate with the Scottish Funding Council (SFC), Scottish Enterprise (SE), Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) and the new South of Scotland Agency (SoSA) to deliver the actions identified in the Strategic Board’s Strategic Plan and to develop a shared vision for skills in 2035.
