The Welsh Government is planning the publication of a new Community Cohesion plan (date to be confirmed). It will contribute toward the ambitions set out in the Prosperity for All: national strategy. It is expected to have four themes:

  • work at a strategic level to build community cohesion and inclusion,
  • work at a local level to break down barriers to inclusion and integration for particular groups,
  • support the integration of migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and settled communities,
  • and support communities to prevent and manage tensions, hostility and extremism.

For any updates, visit the ‘Community Cohesion’ page on the Welsh Government website.
