Education and Youth in 10’: Big policies, small format

20 April 2026
Podcast Episode 1
Youth Wiki News

Talking about education and youth policies in just 10 minutes? That’s a challenge.

But we like a good challenge.

Today, we are launching our new pocket podcast series: “Education and Youth in 10’”.
Short, sharp, and meaningful conversations that turn complex policy issues into insights you can actually follow, on the go.

Episode 1: Youth mental health and wellbeing – a complex challenge for EU policy

In this first episode, we explore why youth mental health is so high on the EU agenda, what the data tells us, where the gaps still are, and how countries across Europe are responding.

From digital stress, social media and cyberbullying to housing struggles, exclusion and unemployment, we unpack the pressures shaping young people’s lives, and the discrimination many still face because of mental health challenges.

Upcoming episodes will cover inclusion in higher education, early childhood education and care, youth housing, and digital education.

Ten minutes. One topic. Plenty to think about.
