Studentské volby - since 2010 the non-profit organisation People in Need has regularly organised so-called Student Elections, which have become an established project. Since the first edition, People in Need has offered schools information materials and model activities that teachers can use directly with students in the class, for example when preparing for student elections. In 2016 they added three documentary films addressing the topic of elections, election campaigns, shaping political preferences etc.
Youth, Speak Up! is a non-profit organization created on the initiative of the Club of Young Political Scientists at the University of Economics in Prague. Their goal is to support young people's interest in politics and increase the representation of their issues and of young people themselves in political events. Since the establishment in 2018 until 2023, they created and implemented a number of projects aimed at involving young people in Czech politics, organized election campaigns to increase the participation of young people, and devoted ourselves to data collection and political analysis of trends in young people's electoral behavior .
Politics (not only) for young people (Politika nejen pro mladé) is an instagram profile and (not only) a digital platform primarily targeting young people. It conveys national and international news and provides objective, contextualised reporting. It is run by a group of several young people with different interests, opinions and beliefs from all over the Czech Republic, and also offers information workshops for secondary schools.
Youth vote was an initiative of the National Parliament of Children and Youth since 2016, motivating young people within the children and youth parliament network to organise debates with the candidates and to increase interest in elections of all types.
Vím, proč volím project (I know why I vote) was run by the Czech Council of Children and Youth in 2013 and 2014 before the elections to the Chamber of Deputies and the European Parliament. A series of debates, an open-air festival and discussions with the candidates in all 14 regions aimed to encourage higher youth turnout. The project also provided an analysis of electoral manifestos of political parties in relation to young people.
