While there is currently no dedicated youth volunteering policy in the country, voluntary activities are dispersed across various initiatives outlined in the National Youth Strategy which is coordinated by the Youth Board of Cyprus (YBC) and other official documents that have been adopted on volunteering.

At the moment, the most recent development is the completion of the project that was administered by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport for the recognition of non-formal and informal learning gained  through volunteering.
