The Deputy Ministry for Culture (Υφυπουργείο Πολιτισμού) is the main actor involved in policy-making and the main governmental authority responsible for preserving and promoting culture in the country and abroad.

The Deputy Ministry was established according to the decision of the Council of Ministers and under the Law Ν. 55(Ι)/2022 that was adopted by the House of Representatives. 

Although there is not a youth culture and creativity strategy in the country, the field is covered through the National Youth Strategy and the policies of the Deputy Ministry as described in the following sub-chapters.
