The Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania and other ministries are responsible for coordination and implementation of youth policy in Lithuania.

The Agency of Youth Affairs is primarily responsible for youth and/or youth programming and this includes cross-sectorial mechanisms of cooperation. The Agency coordinates and organizes committees on monitoring specific policy measures (e.g. Youth Guarantee Committee etc.). Responsible institutions for the implementation of specific youth policy measures are the Ministry of Culture,  the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Innovations, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Department of Drug, Tobacco and Alcohol Control under the Government of Lithuania, Employment Services, and Council of Youth Affairs.

Collaboration topics

Taking this into account, it is very important for the Agency of Youth Affairs  to ensure cooperation with other ministries and institutions.
