6.4 Validation of non-formal and informal learning
In the previous period (2020-2022), a total of 30 new adult education programs were adopted. These are programs that are based on learning outcomes, based on occupational standards and professional qualification standards for a specific occupation, qualification, or skill. There are eight level II programs, 15 are level III and seven are level IV1 of the national qualification’s framework. The programs were developed by the Center for Vocational Education with social partners, in accordance with its competences, and were adopted by the National Council for Education of the Ministry of Education. The new projects are in the fields of transportation, engineering, tourism and trade, hospitality, services, health and social protection, agriculture, construction and spatial planning, information technology, economics and law.
In the course of 2021, 10 new organizers of adult education were licensed, and in the course of 2022, five new institutions, and now there are a total of 129 organizers of adult education in Montenegro.
Direct verification is an instrument used to achieve recognition of previously acquired knowledge.
Forum MNE in co-operation with the Centre for Vocational Education (Ministry of Education) has completed the process of recognition of the vocation of Youth Activist (on a European level equal to Youth Leader). The vocation of Youth Activist was accredited by the Ministry of Education in March 2017, and since then, two generations have attended the programme for Youth Activist vocation. It consists of three trainings and three months of practice together with three exams, after which all the participants who successfully complete the programme are awarded with the Youth Activist occupation certificate. Both times the programme was financed by the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
