Research results demonstrate low level of civic and political participation among young people in Croatia therefore one of goals of Croatian government, stipulated at the National  Youth Programme  is to support youth participation. There are several opportunities for young people to engage in decision-making process, either via institutional options (such as Youth Council, youth advisory boards) or via consultations and participatory processes in decision-making.
