Forthcoming Policy Developments

The implementation of the Strategic Plan for Vocational Education, Training, Lifelong Learning and Youth 2022-2024 and of the objectives of the inter-ministerial working group regarding the planning, coordination, monitoring, promotion and formulation of the policy proposals implemented for the youth are expected to contribute positively to the implementation of Youth Work policies. 

Ongoing Debates

• Start of the implementation of the Bonn Process in Greece 

• Study about the recognition of Youth Work and Youth Workers 

• Design of a single functional and certified training program which will be offered to the target population of those already active in the provision of interconnection services and the development of quality socio-educational actions for the youth

• Diagnosis of ongoing training needs of Youth Workers, at an institutional macro-level, but also at the level of daily intervention practices 

• Creation of strong synergies with the countries of the Council of Europe
