Within the curriculum of High Schools there is no strategic focus on developing entrepreneurial skills through cultural activities. However, the Skills Workshops, which take place up to Middle School, include programs in areas such as Global and Local Cultural Heritage and Entrepreneurship - Career Education - Introduction to professions.

Regarding the development of business skills through culture, in universities, it is conducted through courses in departments of relevant subjects. Indicative departments that offer corresponding educational subjects are:

• The inter-institutional postgraduate study program of the University of West Attica and the Technical University of Crete, entitled "Management of Business Operations". In the study program of this master degree, courses are held on Wine Tourism, New Technologies and Cultural Heritage Management, Development of Educational and Cultural Tourism Product, Entertainment and Culture, Development and Management of Destinations of Cultural Interest, Entertainment and Culture.

• The Department of Culture and Creative Media and Industries, of the University of Thessaly, with the subject of culture and creative industries, combining theoretical training in cultural matters with training in applied fields of cultural production.

Supporting young entrepreneurs in the cultural and creative sector

New projects that will constitute tools to strengthen the domestic cultural sector are launched with the Program Agreement (2022) between the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and the "Information Society". These are new digital platforms which will be financed by the Recovery Fund.

The "Employee Training Platform in the cultural and creative sector", with a budget of €1,000,000, will offer training and skill building in the field of culture and cultural management and will be aimed at professionals in the sector.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports promotes a series of digital platforms in order to achieve the goals that have been set, thus strengthening the potential of young professionals in the sector and the digital management of the country's cultural heritage.
