The Romanian Youth Law (Legea Tineretului) defines the age limits for the youth from 14 to 35.

The National Strategy on Social Inclusion and against poverty 2015-2020 (Strategia Națională privind incluziunea socială și combaterea sărăciei pentru perioada 2015-2020) and the National Strategy on Employment 2014-2020 (Strategiei Naţionale pentru Ocuparea Forței de Muncă 2014-2020) define youth between 15 and 24 for some of the measures to encourage employment in connection with the labour legislation and taking into account the statistics available.
