2.7 Social inclusion through volunteering

Last update: 28 November 2023

 Support to young volunteers

Due to the lack of Volunteering Act, the support of young volunteers is not regulated at national or international level.

Volunteers abroad and foreign volunteers in the country are supported by the ECS programmes. The programme provisions and measures for support also apply to young volunteers with fewer opportunities from other countries.

The National Agency for the Erasmus+ and European Solidary Corps programs organise information and training activities for the promotion of volunteering among young people with fewer opportunities based on the more inclusive nature of the programme.
