Last update: 11 February 2026

Information providers

Information on youth work is mainly provided by CSOs such as the PRONI Centre for youth development and the Institute for Youth Development KULT, through websites and social media. Youth Councils of Republika Srpska, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Brčko District inform about programs. Ministries and the EU Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina provide information via portals.

Key initiatives

In 2025, SDG Week in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UN Bosnia and Herzegovina) raises awareness about youth work through forums such as "Generation of Resilience: Children and Youth for a Just Climate Future". The "Youth-Led Awareness Campaign on Green Agenda" (RCC, 2025) involves young people in ecological initiatives.

"FAST FORWARD" (BRAVO Bosnia and Herzegovina) promotes youth capacities for climate change. According to "Youth Leading Local Change for Global Impact" (OECD, 2025), these initiatives strengthen awareness of the role of youth work in sustainable development.
